Supporting an older parent? We handle the practical side.
We’re not a care agency. Whatever care is in place — an HSE home support package, a private carer, yourself at the weekend — we sort out everything around it: the GP appointment on a Tuesday morning, the gutter that needs clearing, the iPad that’s stopped working. Every one of those costs you half a day and a phone call from your desk.
And when the next decision lands, there’s a named advisor on the end of the phone who already knows the situation and will tell you what they’d do.
Practical help, arranged and checked

Get them where they need to be
A driver who drops off, waits and brings them home again — the GP, the hospital, the hairdresser. Not a taxi that leaves you standing outside. The driver goes in too, raises whatever you've asked to have raised, and sends you a note afterwards.

Get the jobs done
Cleaner, gardener, handyman, tech support, hairdresser. Tell us what needs doing and we'll find the right person — and if nobody's working in that area, we'll go looking. You'll know it got done, because we check.

Know how things are going
A smart bracelet that shows how someone is really doing between visits — how much they're moving, how well they're sleeping, how steadily they're walking. It's built for older people: 365 days before it needs charging, waterproof, light on the wrist, no smartphone needed. You get a monthly report in plain English and someone to tell you what it means.

Someone to ask when a decision comes
A named advisor who already knows the situation, so you're not starting from scratch every time. We'll help you make the decisions that go beyond safe — the ones that make the most of what someone can still do, keep them independent for longer, and keep the lifetime cost of care down.
Where most people find us
“Mam’s being discharged after a hip fracture”
“Dad’s stuck in the chair all day, can hardly climb the stairs”
“My parents won’t get help”
“I’m taking regular sick days to stay on top of everything”
The people we send, and the people who check on them
Suppliers we've verified
Drivers, gardeners, handymen and tech support — backed by advisors who’ve spent their careers helping Irish families through the complications of ageing, and who’ve been through it themselves.
We check the work got done
Every visit is logged at the door and comes back to us, timestamped. Once a month you get a summary of what we saw and what’s worth keeping an eye on.
No fees from providers
Nobody pays us to be recommended. We recommend what’s right, and we say so plainly.
Your information stays yours
We’re GDPR compliant — you decide what gets shared with whom.
How Ask Nuala works
You book an evaluation
Tell us what’s going on. We’ll listen, and show you how we can help — no pressure, no jargon.
We agree a plan together
Your advisor works out what would take the most weight off, this month and next, and puts the right people in place.
We take care of everything
Every job confirmed, every visit reported back. Your advisor stays with you as things change — short-term help or the long haul.
Pay for what you use
No packages you don’t need. Set up a direct debit and you pay the lower hourly rate; pay as you go if you’d rather. Start with one thing and add to it later.
- Care advice — from €100 per hour
- Concierge — from €30 an hour
- Companion transport — from €40 per hour
- Smart bracelet — €80 a month
Fair usage applies on transport and advice, and the bracelet runs for three months minimum. It’s all set out in full, with the on-demand rates, on the pricing page.
Not sure yet? Start with an evaluation — €100
Your local driver comes to the house, meets the person you’re arranging for, shows you the smart bracelet and walks through the home with you.
Later you join your advisor and concierge by video for half an hour, so family anywhere in the world can be in on the call.
You get a written proposal afterwards, and the €100 comes off whatever you book next.
